China Reels Transportation
Freezing conditions have been known to paralyze river shipping operations in several parts of the world. Oversized reels weighing about 200 tonnes were required to be transported in sub-zero temperatures from China to Pasir Gudang, Malaysia.
LAND FREIGHT
PVC Plant Transportation
PVC plant weighing a total of 16,000 tonnes were dismantled in Kerteh and transported to Mumbai, India to be reassembled. The entire process took 150 days from start to finish with no errors or breach of safety measures.

Scope of Work : Custom Clearance, Port Handling, Vessel Chartering, Storage & Shifting
Tera has been appointed to transport 2 units of Flexible Pipeline Reel along with some accessories, from Binzhou, China, to Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
This shipment comprises four packages, with the largest piece measuring 10.0 meters in length, 6.77 meters in width, and 10.0 meters in height.
All four packages were loaded at the client’s private jetty in Binzhou, China and eventually lifted and loaded onto a self-propelled Barge utilizing a 350 ton capacity floating crane.
The self-propelled Barge then departed to Taicang Port to undergo a ship-to-ship transfer (STS) operations.
Upon arrival at Taicang Port, the self-propelled Barge berthed alongside chartered Heavy Lift Vessel to carry out the STS operations.
Subsequently, the HLV departed to Johor Port to unload the reels onto a double wide multi-axle trailer. The laden MAT then shifted and jacked down the reels onto concrete stools at the temporary storage yard in Johor port. Following this, the reels were jacked up, shifted from the temporary storage yard to the wharf side, and then lifted and loaded onto a Multi-Purpose Offshore Vessel utilizing the vessel crane.

Scope of Work : Barging, Lifting, Loading, Sea Fastening & Unloading
Tera has been appointed to deliver 1 unit 35 ton Offshore Pedestal Crane along with accessories ex Port Klang to Labuan for SHELL TIMI Project.
There were 5 packages with a total weight of 36 mt & volume of 703.617 cbm with the largest piece of cargo measuring at 23.8 (L) x 6.0 (W) x 4.7 (H) meter.
Client has decided to go on full charter. Hence Tera supplied a 250ft barge pair with 1,200hp tugboat for this project.
All the cargoes were stationed at the client’s private jetty before it was lifted & loaded onto the barge with a 250 ton capacity barge crane.
Upon completion of loading, the cargoes were secured on the barge deck, fastened, and set sail to Labuan Shipyard in East Malaysia.
After berthing alongside Labuan Shipyard, barge crew performed unfastening & hooking on scope. The cargoes were unloaded using a 198 ton capacity Manitowoc ringer crane at the shipyard.
Tera is working on the 2nd leg to load the Offshore Pedestal Crane onto a dedicated PSV & arrange seafastening before it is being delivered & installed onto the intended offshore platform.

Tera has been appointed by one of our customer to deliver 6 x units of Water Tank along with required accessories ex Nilai, Malaysia to Senawang, Malaysia for SAMSUNG SDI ENERGY PLANT Project.
All in there were 6 packages with the largest piece measuring at 6.0 (L) x 4.9 (W) x 4.9 (H) meter.
All the cargoes were stationed at the client’s premises before it was lifted & loaded onto our Vessel Bridge Trailer – (as seen in above).
The delivery took place at night to avoid the traffic congestion during daytime.
Upon arrival at the final site, the scope of unlashing and unloading were executed accordingly and offloaded using a mobile crane at the Samsung Plant site in Senawang, Malaysia.

We pick up cargo from client location, transporting the heaviest piece using SPMT to a private jetty nearby and load onto Barge (RORO operation).
This unit then carry by barge to nearest port (Port Klang West) and load (Double banking operation) onto a HLV that we chartered.
